One of the best experiences you can have in Azerbaijan is off-road driving. 

In the rural south you can only really get to the remote and picturesque areas by dirt road or hunting tracks. In our very capable 4x4 all drivers in the group will get to drive and experience obstacles, river crossings, dirt tracks, up-hill climbs and extreme descents. 

 

Whether you've driven off road many times or it's your first time, we'll give you instruction as you go on how to manage extreme obstacles, and general driving if you're new to a manual car. Everyone in the group will get a chance to drive on track and off-road on obstacles.

 

Our track will take you through the Hirkan national forest to areas no other tourists will ever experience. The full day route will start through the forests of Lankaran before winding into Lerik region, leading to the ancient city of Lerik.

Details: Your driver speaks fluent English (from the UK) Minimum of 2 and maximum of 6 per group due to capacity. Lunch is provided in a local Azerbaijani's house, and refreshments will be provided on route. No previous experience is needed, no special insurance is needed either. Our experienced driver will be there to make sure you feel comfortable with the driving. Routes are weather dependant as some routes are impassible in heavy mud (early Spring and late Autumn) or snow (Winter), but we'll be able to advise you of this depending on the time of year. If they are we have alternative routes to ensure your safety at all times. Our specialist 4x4 is an UAZ Hunter military vehicle, which are only commonly found in rural Central Asia.
